The existence of a causal link between climate disruption and extreme weather events has now been proved. Study of the link takes the form of observing an increase in rainfall intensity in some regions of the northern hemisphere. In order to adapt to this change, the City of Copenhagen relied on Veolia’ subsidiary Krüger to implement an approach that seeks to forecast flooding in order to minimize the damage that it can cause.
