Providing cutting-edge hazardous and medical waste integrated treatment to support the growth of Tianjin

威立雅中国天津危废处理

Veolia and its partners have been operating the Tianjin Hazardous Waste Integrated Treatment Center (Phase 1: Hejia Center) since 2003. It is China’s first cutting-edge hazardous and medical waste integrated treatment facility and a demonstration project in hazardous waste treatment and recycling area. The professional and tailored hazardous waste management solutions are widely recognized by industries in Tianjin.

As Tianjin continues its rapid development and faces growing needs in industrial hazardous waste treatment, Veolia is now operating another advanced hazardous industrial waste disposal facility in Binhai New District (Phase 2: Binhai Hejia Center).

State-of-the-art technologies

The Tianjin Hazardous Waste Integrated Treatment Center (Phase 1: Hejia Center) respects international standards and is designed, built and operated using state-of-the-art technologies. The Center specializes in the collection, transportation, storage, treatment, disposal and integrated use of hazardous industrial and medical waste. New facilities to support safe, sustainable growth of the city

To accompany Tianjin in its growth and to meet the city’s growing demand on hazardous waste treatment, Veolia is now operating another hazardous industrial waste disposal facility in Binhai New District (Phase 2: Binhai Hejia Center). This facility in Binhai New District is one of the largest hazardous waste treatment facilities in terms of incineration capacity.

Tianjin Hejia Hazardous Waste Integrated Treatment Center was the first to bring in advanced hazardous waste treatment technology to China. It is now the showcase facility for hazardous waste treatment in North China and potentially the whole country. The Center, along with the new treatment facility in Binhai, will continue to be the think-tank of the Chinese environmental industry, and support the economic and environmental development of Tianjin and China.
